After-school Kids' Tech Class Instructor in Coral Gables

Contract in Miami, FL - Entry Level

Compensation up to $40 per class.

KidTec is an established company that teaches fun, game based computer classes at elementary schools as an after­-school program. Our classes include Minecraft Modding, Coding/Programming and Video Game Design. If you love kids and are interested in technology, video games, building apps, programming, digital art, video editing or 3D modeling, then this is a great opportunity to get on board as our company continues to grow!

No previous teaching experience is required! We will train. But computer programming experience is required.

This is a great opportunity for teachers, college students or part-­time job seekers interested in gaining teaching experience and learning more in this exciting field. Training and Curriculum is provided. Classes meet once or twice a week for one hour at a school and run for 6 to 13 weeks. Flexible hours and scheduling are available. We teach after-school classes so typical hours range from 2 pm to 6 pm depending on location. Limited morning and evening classes may be available.


  • Candidates must have computer programming experience.
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation in order to get to the school.
  • Candidates must pass Miami-Dade School District background check
  • Candidates must have a clean driving record.


  • Teach classes of 8-12 children at schools in South Beach.
  • Teach computer classes that may include Coding, Minecraft Modding, Game Design, Lego Robotics, etc.
  • Watch students until pickup by designated parents or school staff.


  • Loves working with and teaching kids between 5 and 12 years old.
  • Previous teaching experience is a plus.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well independently and under pressure.
